Romance, and all that junk ;)
Lance and I met when we were 7 years old, and we grew up together. However we were never in the same circle of friends, he was kind of the bad boy. He was never a follower, and never cared what people thought. I on the other hand swam with the other fish, I had lots of friends and was never a “bad” girl, although I have had my fair share of crazy nights. p.s don’t get me wrong I wasn’t a follower EVER, but I did swim with different fishys then Lance.
We actually started dating after a canoe trip in 2006. My friend Katie and I were sharing a canoe, and Lance was sharing a canoe with my older brother. Katie and I’s canoe somehow tipped, and all of our food, clothes, and sleeping bags were SOAKED!!!!! So Lance offered me the shirt off of his back, built a fire with the other boys to warm up kate and I, and let me sleep in his sleeping bag. We have been basically inseperable ever since. Aww I know romantic

Lance although I’m sure he doesnt consider himself romantic is infact romantic. He is always thinking of me and doing the little things so to speak. I think our most romantic times are sporadic things. Our most recent romantic outing was when he came home from combat training in NM, I surprised him with a trip to Canada. Although I was rejected at the border UGHHH!!! For the most ridiculous reason (a whole other story), we made the most of it.
I quickly got to work on my Iphone found a romantic little Inn called “The Sunset Hill House” In sugar Hill NH. Booked us a room, programmed it into the GPS and we were off. It was a gorgeous setting, the staff was awesome, the room had a Jacuzzi bath tub, and a fire place. We ate an amazing, dinner and there wine list OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I thought I died and went to wine heaven. Although we were only there for one night, It was worth the money, the long drive to Canada and back, and all the stress of finding it. We will definitely go back.

I think one reason that Lance and I get along even though we are opposites for the most part we also have a lot in common. For instance we are both passionate about music and we enjoy the same tunes. We like Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Blind Melon, Black Crows… okay I could honestly type forever on the music we like because music makes me so happy so I’ll just stop there!!! ..
We also both want to travel. I think that Lance likes Europe a lot, I’ve never been. For our honeymoon we want to do a european cruise. Lance and I have been together for about 2 and a half years now, and we have traveled a few places. When we first started dating we went to CT, for a DMB concert. Then a few weekends later he took me to Montreal, very romantic. We have also been to North Caralina, as well as St. Martin together. I think traveling is an experience no matter where you go, and expericing it together is what is important.
Another reason why we get along so well is, I LOVE TO COOK, and Lance loves to eat. Although Lance is huge on comfort foods, and I guess I make comfort foods, but try to kick them up a notch. BAM! His Mom is an awsome cook as well, so he’s grown up on good food, so he is very happy I can cook!
When we have talked about our wedding he has basically given me full control over the day. But I really want our wedding to speak to both of us. I want everyone who comes to really feel like we shared a peice of us with them.
